A few real situations where booking a one-on-one session comes in handy.
1. A weekly check-in with your coach
Situation: You're on a plan that includes four personal-training sessions a month and want to see the same coach every week.
How it works:
- Each week, tap Book 1:1, choose your service, pick your coach, and grab the same time from their open slots.
- Your four included sessions are used as you book; when they're gone for the period, you'll be told your allowance is used up.
2. A one-off private before an event
Situation: You usually take group classes but want a single private session to prep for a competition.
How it works:
- If your studio sells personal training as an add-on, ask them to add it — then Book 1:1, pick the trainer and time, and you're set.
- The session shows under Bookings next to your classes, and you check in the same way.
3. Fitting a session around a busy week
Situation: Your usual trainer is fully booked this week.
How it works:
- On the trainer step, pick a different trainer — each has their own availability, so another may have open mornings when yours doesn't.
- Only open times appear, so whatever you can tap is genuinely free.
Tips for everyone
- Book early. Popular trainers and times fill up; the sooner you book, the more choice you have.
- Cancel if plans change. Cancelling re-opens your time for someone else — and keeps you in good standing with your studio's cancellation policy.
