Checking in your family
For: Members
If you're a guardian on a family plan, you don't need a separate phone or account for each child. One scan of your code checks in everyone who's with you.
Checking in with your children
- Open Check in and show Your check-in code — your own code, not a separate one for each child.
- Scan it at the kiosk, or show it to the front desk.
- ClassLift asks Who's checking in? and lists you and your dependents, everyone selected. Your own name is marked You.
- Tap anyone who isn't here to leave them out, then confirm with Check in and the count (for example, Check in 3).
- The kiosk shows how many checked in (for example, 3 checked in!).
Everyone you left selected is checked in together — you and your children in one scan.
Tips
- Only the people you leave selected are checked in, so it's fine to bring one child today and two the next.
- Your children don't need the app or an email address — they're linked to you on your family plan.
- Managing who's on your plan? Open your Family settings in your account.
Troubleshooting
