Check-in in your reports
For: Owners & Managers
Every check-in feeds your studio's attendance data automatically — there's nothing extra to record. This page explains where arrivals show up once they're captured.
What check-ins power
- Attendance — total arrivals and attendance per class come straight from check-ins. When a check-in matches a booking within the grace window, that booking counts as attended.
- No-shows — a booked member who never checks in within the window is counted as a no-show. ClassLift finalizes no-shows automatically a safe margin after each class ends, and staff can also mark them by hand from the class roster.
- Facility visits — a check-in with no matching booking (an open-gym drop-in, for example) is still counted as an arrival.
Where to find it
Open Insights → Reports in the sidebar and look at the Attendance tab for participation and no-show metrics. See Reports for a full tour of the tabs.
Tips
- Keep check-in consistent. The more reliably members are checked in — by scan, kiosk, or roster — the more trustworthy your attendance and no-show numbers are.
- Correct from the roster, not by guessing. If attendance looks off for a class, open it on the Schedule and fix it there (check a member in, or flip a no-show) rather than adjusting reports.
