Facilities is where you set up the physical side of your studio — your locations, the rooms in them, the card readers at the desk, and any access-control system on your doors.
Key Concepts
| Concept | Description |
|---|---|
| Location | A physical site. Each active location is part of your ClassLift subscription. |
| Room | A space within a location (a studio, court, or floor) you can assign classes to. |
| Card reader | A Stripe Terminal reader paired to a location for taking a card at the desk. |
| Access control | A connection to your existing door-access vendor so door credentials stay in sync with membership. |
How it works
- Add your locations — the sites where you run classes and take check-ins.
- Add the rooms in each location and assign classes to them.
- Pair a card reader if you take card payments at the desk.
- Connect an access-control vendor if your doors are managed by one.

Everything is under the Facilities section of the sidebar (owners and managers):
- Locations — your sites, and card readers.
- Rooms — the spaces within them.
