Real-world facility setups for different studios.
1. A single-studio yoga business
Situation: One location with two rooms.
Setup steps:
- Under Locations, Add location with your studio's address.
- Under Rooms, add Main Studio and Reformer Room, each with a capacity.
- Assign classes to the right room when scheduling so the two never clash.
2. A multi-location gym
Situation: Three sites, each taking card payments at the desk.
Setup steps:
- Add location for each site — each active site is $129/mo.
- Pair a card reader to each site so staff get the Card (reader) tender there.
- Add the rooms per site; the calendar's Rooms view then shows each site's spaces.
3. Pausing a site for renovation
Situation: You're closing one site for two months of building work.
Setup steps:
- On the site under Locations, open the ⋯ menu and choose Temporarily close.
- It drops off your bill until you reopen it — bookings and check-ins pause there.
- When work's done, choose Reopen to bring it back.
4. A 24/7 gym with keyless entry
Situation: Doors are managed by an access-control vendor and should track membership.
Setup steps:
- Under Access control, an owner clicks Connect vendor and links your provider (with your access system's admin).
- Assign the vendor to each location with its Site ID.
- Eligible members are provisioned automatically; watch entries under Access events.
Tips for all studios
- Use Temporarily close for seasonal or renovation pauses so you're not billed while you're shut.
- Rooms are worth setting up even at a single site — they prevent double-booking and give you a per-room schedule.
